2012 is going to be an exciting year.

OBOA's New Strategic Plan is being formulated to provide the Association's direction for the next 5 years. Members together with the Board of Directors and Chapter Chairs will have input to this process.

OBOA proposes professional status for Building Officials, not just members but all Building Officials, then OBOA must demonstrate a commitment to the projects that will sustain a profession, and provide services to all that practice within the profession. The discussion surrounding the Self-Management Proposal has made the need of this commitment clear and apparent. To elevate our status to that of a professional management entity in any form, we will need to demonstrate capability and sustainability.
