Photo of Vice President - Internship, Northern Affairs Having worked in Northern, Small Rural and Large Municipal settings Alan brings a wide range of experience to the board. His work duties have included Chief Building Official, plans examination, inspection, and property standards enforcement. It is this background that allows him to understand and provide a voice for all members of our association.

Alan has been active in the OBOA sitting on the executives of two chapters; (Vice-chair of the Sunset Country Chapter, Chair for South Western Chapter) prior to joining the board in 2007. His service on the board includes representing the membership on several committees and working groups at a provincial level including; MPMP, OMBI, and MDE. As Vice-President Alan continues to represent the OBOA membership on provincial and national issues.

Alan's goal for the next two years is to promote uniform code application by disseminating best practices using OBOA's web-site, publications and other tools.
