During the month of May every year, the building industry celebrates Building Safety Month. This campaign is designed to promote the importance of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and recognize the guardians who maintain this code to keep our homes, buildings and infrastructure safe. These guardians include building officials, fire prevention officials, architects, engineers, builders, tradespersons, design professionals and the entire construction industry. This year, we have four posters with four themes to promote Building Safety Month. Each poster will be unveiled every week in May, to highlight the work of the building industry.
