It is a great honour to serve on the board of the OBOA, looking at all the persons who have served and or continue to serve reminds me 
of just what esteemed group I have joined. Looking back over almost 10 years it is amazing how much has changed. When I went to become a building inspector, I was given some advice which has proven to be consistent during this time. First, join the OBOA, the amount of assistance, help, training and networking you can utilize to quote a commercial is “priceless”. Second, a good building official is one whom can obtain compliance without having to utilize the judicial system.
