Dan Halladay, Township of North Frontenac
Building Inspector
Township of North Frontenac
“I really enjoy the daily challenges and working with the public. At the end of the day, I feel like I have done some good.”
The OBOA supports my career through continuing education and updates on the Building Code. I like the fact that they OBOA is consistently striving to be better and offers opportunities to better myself as well.
I wish I’d known about being a Building Official when I was in college because it would have been the best career choice for me. I discovered this career after I had been injured on the job working in the construction field and started training through WSIB. Being in the trades helps me have a better understanding of the steps and procedures that take place in the construction process.”
