Course Description:
This technical course has been designed to enhance the understanding and skill of new and existing Ontario Building Code (OBC) practitioners who wish to improve their competence in the practice of interpretation and implementation of the principles and requirements related to Change of Use and Renovation as found in Part 10 and 11 of Division B of the OBC.
The course will help you understand the requirements of the OBC that apply to changes in use in existing buildings where there is no construction proposed, or extensive renovations are entailed and determining the various construction requirements regulated by the OBC..
