Consultation on Building Code Proposals to support construction of Rapid Transit Stations

The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing is consulting on proposed changes to the Building Code, including Section 3.13, that would support the construction of rapid transit stations.

Improving transit infrastructure is one of the government's priorities alongside increasing housing supply. Amending the Building Code to support the construction of Rapid Transit Stations would align with government priorities to increase and accelerate construction of new transit.
