Although still under construction, Hamilton’s shipping container house is already famous, having been the object of much media attention. This two-story, basement walk-out, single dwelling home is constructed using pre-manufactured shipping containers. The shipping containers were manufactured for this specific application, window and door openings were pre-cut prior to installation of the containers on the foundation. Hamilton Building Inspector Holly Brown is the lead Building Official on this project.
